Human Resources Operations Manager

Job Description

We are looking for an HR Operations Manager with a start-up mentality ready to take on a challenge. You will provide leadership on a variety of human resources programs, policies, and practices that enhance the employee experience, positions the organization for growth, and minimizes risk. The HR team is dedicated to providing exceptional service while promoting a culture of collaboration, performance, accountability, and innovation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage partnership with Professional Employer Organization providing services to US and international locations
  • Lead evaluation and implementation of HRIS and performance management system, supporting change management and process
  • Manage employee engagement survey and results
  • Manage benefits programs and vendors to include open enrollment, benefits education, compliance and reporting
  • Administer leave programs to include STD, LTD, FMLA
  • Develop and recommend policies, guidelines, and processes supporting a global population
  • Track, analyze and communicate key HR metrics to measure KPIs and assist with business decisions
  • Coordinate with Payroll to ensure accuracy and compliance for all payroll transactions
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for immigration and expatriate matters
  • Contribute in the HR due diligence of mergers and acquisitions
  • Ensure legal compliance by monitoring applicable federal and state requirements
     

Required Skills and Background

  • 10+ years HR Operations experience
  • Bachelor’s degree required and HR certification preferred
  • Proven project/change management skills, including attention to detail and a demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously
  • Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing environment
  • Desire to roll up their sleeves to get the job done
  • Excellent written communication skills
  • n-depth knowledge and experience defining project scope, team building, defining business requirements and functional/technical specifications
  • Ability to work with different cross-functional stakeholders to establish and ensure a reliable and productive working relationship
  • Experience with mergers and acquisitions
  • Knowledge of federal and state laws including ERISA, HIPAA, COBRA, Section 125, FMLA, ACA, EEO-1, Affirmative Action Plans, OFCCP compliance, Federal and State discrimination laws, etc.
  • Ability to travel as needed
